Walgreens Savings

For those of you who are new to Walgreens incentives programs, I hope to post a longer explanation soon, but wanted to share these great freebies before they're over.

Freebies: 4/12-4/18
18 ct. Scunci cost: $2 receive $2 rr (double packs included - wrapped 2 for 1)
Colgate Max White or Max Fresh Toothbrush cost: $3.29 receive $3.50 rr
- $1 off printable - Pay only $2.29

Monthly Freebies: Until 4/24
Skintimate or Edge Infused/Energy Shave Gel Cost $2.99, get $3 rr
Chapstick 100% Naturals cost: $1.99, get $2 rr

For those new to Walgreens - "rr's" are register rewards you can use on another purchase. Deals are limit 1 - so you cannot use the Scunci rr's - to purchase another scunci and expect another 2rr's to print out. However you can roll them.

You could just purchase 1 of each, pay $9.27 + tax and receive 10.50 in rr to use on future purchases. Or...

REAL DEAL SAVER Purchase
1. Chapstick 1.99, receive $2rr
2. Scunci $2.14, use $2 rr from Chapstick (pay $.14 for the tax)
3. Colgate Toothbrush (with additional inexpensive item - will explain later) $2.29 + tax, use the $2 rr (pay small difference & tax) but receive $3.50 rr
4. Purchase either shave gel + something else OR 1 scunci & 1 chapstick and get back RR's!

In the end, you have either:
1 Chapstick, 1 Scunci pack, 1 toothbrush, 1 Shave gel & two other small items - for about $3-$4 out of pocket - HOWEVER still have $3 rr's left to spend - So net cost $1
or
2 Chapsticks, 2 Scunci packs, 1 toothbrush = out of pocket about $3-$4, have $4 rr's left over - Net Cost about FREE or less than free!
